Dearest Mama, if you feel alone, I am right there with you.

If you’re a mom who is lonely, though you’re surrounded by kids and laundry and toys and crumbs, you’re not alone.

If you’re a mom who has amazing friends and family but that loneliness just doesn’t seem to abate despite this, you’re not alone.

If you’re a mom and you are grasping for control in ANY shape or form even when it doesn’t make sense, it’s not just you.

If you’re a mom and you feel like everything in your life contradicts the way you feel inside, you’re not alone.

If you’re a mom who can’t seem to find anything to look forward to in the redundancy of life right now, yet you hate how fast time is slipping away, you’re not alone.

If you’re a mom who feels isolated, but somehow still longs to have time completely by herself, you’re not the only one.

If you’re a mom who gets excited to wander Target just for fun, but then you just end up crying in the fitting room (ok, so this one is oddly specific), you’re not alone.

If you’re a mom who knows she is insanely blessed and loves her kids more than anything but still can’t quite seem to find the joy right now, YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE.

I understand you, Mama. We all do. Every single one of us gets this.

God does too, and He wants you to notice He is there with you. He wants you to recognize that you’re not ever completely by yourself.

You are loved, you are seen, and the job you are doing is incredibly valuable—you can keep going, you can do this.

Dear precious mama, please remember that you are not all alone, not now, not in your darkest moments, not inside of Target (or the coffee shop or the wine aisle or when you hide in your car) not in your worst moments, not in your deepest regrets, not in your heart or even your head. Not ever.

You are never alone.
